creepy question

LOL
Is it creepy to know that someone is typing on the internet while naked?

Do you do it?

(Thinking of writing a creepy story. Shh. Don't tell anybody. Just learned that the president of the Springfield Writer's Guild is on the sex offender list. One old lady went to his defense, said we shouldn't pry, or mention it around because it might hurt him some way. As a woman who has dealt with sexual abuse, and a daughter who was date raped, and friends with multiple issues of abuse by men--I'm not feeling real protective of this perpetrator--who, on deeper inspection, was 39 when he "sexually assaulted" a 14 yr old. Call me crazy, but that's child molestation in my book. I don't wanna be nice to the creep.) That was in parenthesis because I was whispering about the creepy man. ;)

You can google the Springfield Writer's Guild for info on the president, then do a http://www.familywatchdog.us/ search. The info on his crime is a matter of public record.

My last questions of the day are...do you think we should be concerned with his feelings about this "getting out" when the government has posted him on the internet as a sex offender to be wary of? Or do you think it is more important to inform women who might come in contact with him--that there is a potential risk?

I know women who have been pressured into this man's private company. I know of a few women who felt so uncomfortable with him (he's a mysoginist) that they stopped attending (writers) groups he showed up at.

Normally, I'm a live and live sort of person. I believe in unconditional love and forgiveness. However, I draw the line in front of child molestors, rapists, and murderers. If someone doesn't stand up for the victims...what sort of society would we have?

I don't think it's creepy to type on the internet while naked, but I do think it's creepy to know/let others know about it. I don't do it. The chair I'm using is not exclusively mine.

On the sex offender question, I think that because he was actually convicted there's no need to worry about his feelings - it's not as if this is some unsubstantiated rumour.

No, I don't type naked and if I did I wouldn't tell anyone.

No, I don't think it's creepy if someone does. The creepy factor comes in if they make it a point to let someone else know. That's the creepy part. Because what are they leading up to? What will they do/say? Why did they tell you to begin with?

As for the president of the SWG? (Sorry if I offend anyone by saying it this way.) HELL NO you shouldn't be concerned with his feelings, with "protecting" him! He knew good and well what he did when he did it. Some would argue he paid for the crime if/when he went to prison.

NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

So, yeah, I think anyone who might be considered vulnerable to him should be told immediately! (For that matter, I personally think he should not be in any kind of position of authority -- real or imagined -- and should be asked to step down. But that's just me.)
