Lightning struck

Yesterday, there was lightning in my area, so I didn't get online ALL DAY. Sorry if you checked in for contest clues and didn't see any post. I rarely stay off the computer all day when I'm home. It drove me crazy, too. Didn't check my email. Didn't turn it on once.

Twice bitten, they say, once shy. I've lost too many modems in lightning storms. So, now at the first sign of one, I unplug the modem. The one I have now is $150 dsl modem. Too expensive to replace. So, forgive me for being cautious, if you will.

I'll be leaving tomorrow for Aggiecon. Here's the info on it: You can find my pic (as a panel speaker) at:

So, my posting may be sketchy or nonexistent while I'm there. I have a laptop, but don't know if I'll be able to hook up. I'll be back Monday, for sure, though.

In blog contest news and on it. would you write that? Epic member authors have some pretty obscure blog sites, as far as I can tell. So, I'm just gonna go and give you some websites to check out. Put them on your list and I'll count them, even if they aren't blogs. (Sigh)

Sarah Winn. Books looked pretty good. She has WARRIORS and ladies. I always like those type of books.

Bob Rich, anything about depression gets my interest:

Christine Norris is next. She has a blog. YAY.
Hers is young adult fiction. I know some of you have kids that might be interested. Or you may be interested yourself. As you know, Harry Potter was considered young fiction.
